Waste hierarchy is applied depending on the priority order in legislation and prevention of waste generation and management policy, as follows: a) prevention; b) reuse; c) recycling; d) energy recovery; e) elimination.

1 Don’t throw anything at random: on the sidewalks and streets, in parks and gardens, waters and water’s edge, roadsides, and wherever you spend time in nature! Even if you don’t find a trash can immediately that doesn’t mean that it is not your duty to be careful of where you dispose of the waste.

2 Help your family sort the waste you produce on categories. Use different color trash bags or marked cartboard boxes so that your family knows where to put the paper and cartboard waste, plastic bottles, aluminum cans, ordinary bottles and organic residues.

3 Respect the indications written on the selective waste collection containers and don’t mix the materials. Try as much as you can to flatten the recipients before introducing them into the container in order to increase the amount of waste collected and transported.

4 Don’t deposit the waste next to the container, even if these are already full.

5 Promote the concept of selective waste collection in your friend circle and the place where you work!

    Eco Life Style have respected thoroughly the contractual duties. Has allocated enough staff at our headquarters to meet the contractual requirements. Their services are very high quality, in accordance with the quality standards and rules required by Philip Morris Romania and the current legislation. Through this collaboration we succeeded in bringing a series of improvements to the waste management activity: minimizing the volume of waste, optimizing waste reports, improving the general appearance of the platforms, decreasing the amount of wood waste, finding recovery solutions for various categories of waste, etc.

    I am amazed to see what can be done from the products that we collect in our factory for recycling, and I have now started to realize that some of the things I buy can be made from waste that has been recovered from our production activities. The whole setup is really nice and surprising! I never knew, for example, that I could have a kiosk made of recycled wood built in my backyard!”, explained Mirela Volcov, Manager Logistics and Planning Philip Morris Romania.

    Milos Stevanovic, Manager EHS&S Philip Morris Serbia, present at the opening, shared his thoughts on the project: “I am really impressed from what I see here! The high recycling rate that you have is not coming from the sky; it is a very big contribution from the entire organization. This contribution is exactly what we see here; it is all about everyone’s involvement! Of course, the cultural aspect is very important – how people are thinking and acting about recycling and on protecting the environment – and this should be really shown to the other companies in PMI.

Our company was set up in 2007 and, since then, has constantly provided integrated waste management services for large waste generators.

Our aim in any collaboration is to identify solutions for recycling a range of wastes as large as possible.

We take over the following types of wastes:

  • Non-hazardous wastes: paper/board, plastics, ferrous/non-ferrous metal, wood, glass;
  • Toxic and hazardous wastes;
  • Electric and electronic equipment wastes;
  • We are recyclers of wood and plastic wastes;
  • We are recyclers of organic origin wastes.

We are authorised for carrying out controlled destruction operations for inconsistent / expired / damaged products.

Our customer portfolio is a proof of our capacity of managing waste disposal sites for large industrial platforms.

The integrated waste management involves advice regarding the wastes, setting the waste disposal site, waste management at the disposal site, finding solutions for temporary storage of wastes, but also elaborating the necessary documents and other deeds to assure the legal framework.

Our aim in any collaboration is to offer the customers recycling solutions for as many generated wastes.

In the last years, our company has made significant investments in machines, logistics and human resources.

Depending on the specific conditions and the needs of the waste generator, we can place containers, press containers or vertical presses for baling.

ECO LIFE STYLE helps companies with stocks of expired of inconsistent products that must be eliminated without the risk of being introduced in a legal or illegal commercial route.

As the same time, we provide the destruction of confidential documents or with special status, eliminating the risk of recovering the information contained therein.

All these are carried out based on a contract, while the partners interested in the destruction have several options in terms of the operation’s safety. The materials are transported in sealed trucks, the operation is recorded and, at the end, the recording is provided on a digital device.

We offer our customers the option to have a representative present at the operation.

The wastes may be destroyed by chopping, cutting, pressing, dismantling, composting, etc.

We have experience in providing this service, as so far we have destroyed very diverse materials: cigarettes, coffee, shoes, cosmetic products, labels, promotional materials, electronic equipment, special industrial machines, food products, metal profiles etc.

The drum composting plant that we have is designed to represent an effective, safe, easy and efficient method of composting a large number of organic wastes flows. The waste flows may include food residues, bio-solid remains and others.

Turning the wastes into compost is an ecological and modern method.
