Expozitie dedicata reciclarii – Philip Morris Romania

Prima expozitie dedicata reciclarii realizata in cadrul Philip Morris Romania inaugurata de ziua internationala a mediului in 2011.

Pentru sensibilizarea angajatilor, Philip Morris Romania impreuna cu ECO LIFE STYLE, au realizat expozitia ECO STYLE dedicata reciclarii aplicata direct pe deseurile generate de fabrica Philip Morris Romania.

Proiectul, deosebit de amplu, a prezentat performantele societatii ECO LIFE STYLE in valorificarea deseurilor generate de Philip Morris Romania.

La inaugurare au participat oficiali din cadrul Philip Morris International care au subliniat elementele de noutate si originalitate pe care le aduce proiectul la nivelul intregului grup Philip Morris.

“I am amazed to see what can be done from the products that we collect in our factory for recycling, and I have now started to realize that some of the things I buy can be made from waste that has been recovered from our production activities. The whole setup is really nice and surprising! I never knew, for example, that I could have a kiosk made of recycled wood built in my backyard!”, explained Mirela Volcov, Manager Logistics and Planning Philip Morris Romania.

Milos Stevanovic, Manager EHS&S Philip Morris Serbia, present at the opening, shared his thoughts on the project: “I am really impressed from what I see here!  The high recycling rate that you have is not coming from the sky; it is a very big contribution from the entire organization. This contribution is exactly what we see here; it is all about everyone’s involvement! Of course, the cultural aspect is very important – how people are thinking and acting about recycling and on protecting the environment – and this should be really shown to the other companies in PMI”.
